This project was a copycat project for a presentation class. The requirement for this was to find an effect that we liked from a video, any video, so i personally chose the opening to the video "Impossible Objects" By Jake Roper. We were to do this video without Tutorials to try and be able to dissect what elements are used and learn how to spot how effects are done. I used 3D Layering, After effects lights, trim paths, and various effects to get the animation of the lines and used an RGBÂ split / Gaussian blur to get the effect for the text and had multiple compositions, plus a Luma matte and some various effects, cropping and compositing with a royalty free ink blot to get the fade effect shown to segment the intro and show off other shape layers.
